No matter if you like it, the Radeon RX 6650XT dedicated graphics cards are coming.

We figured out how to get some data on the upcoming PowerColor Radeon RX 6650XT graphics card.

The organization is currently preparing an updated Hellhound model with a much faster Navi 23 GPU. As can be seen from the data presented to us, this model will increase GPU clocks and memory speed.

The PowerColor RX 6650 XT Hellhound is a dual-core graphics card with 2048 Stream processors and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. These specifications have not changed and neither has the RX 6600 series plan. This model supports dual BIOS, with Silent and OC modes. Silent mode is basically a standard AMD specification, which means the RX 6650XT should have a game and clock up to 2410/2635MHz respectively. The Hellhound model isn't the flagship PowerColor GPU, but there's still a two-hour boost in OC mode.

Comparing the RX 6650XT Hellhound with its 'ancestor', the RX 6600 XT Hellhound, is likely to be verified. In this case, the game clock has expanded from 2382MHz to 2486MHz, which is 4.4%.Meanwhile, the assist has gone from 2,593MHz to 2,689MHz, thus a rather modest increase of 3.7%.

Things get interesting once we get to the memory specs. Contrary to rumors and gossip, this model uses about 18 Gbps of memory, and will send 17.5 Gbps of memory. This increases the data transfer capacity from 256 GB/s to 280 GB/s.

Our spec sheet does not specify a TBP (Typical Board Power) for this model. Its processor was TBP 160W. However, what we can confirm is that the basic requirements for the power supply have changed from 500W to 600W. However, so far the card has been equipped with a single 8-pin power connector.

This model and the rest of the AMD Radeon RX 6x50XT series are set for dispatch on May 10th. We will report on this card and others as soon as we have more data.
