With Backup4all Professional, you can easily backup to any local drive or network drive. You can also backup to FTP with SSL encryption support, proxy server or passive mode) or SFTP. Moreover, you can backup to DVD, CD, Blu-ray, HD-DVD or other removable media (such as USB drives). With the wizard, you can easily set up any backup configurations you wish.

With Backup4all Professional, you can back up your open or locked files. Such as databases, MS Outlook personal folder (.pst), Outlook Express mail archives (dbx files) and others. When you select a backup, there is also the option to run pre-selected backups. Such as My Documents, My Pictures, or email messages and settings in Outlook Express.
Backup4all Professional supports ZIP64 support. This allows creating backups of more than 4GB. It also creates standard zip files, which means you can access them using any zip-compatible utility. Moreover, it comes with CD, DVD, and Blu-ray burning support.
Backup4all Professional features:
- Version tracking. Backup4all is backup software that offers a unique mode of tracking file versions. You can selectively restore any previous state of the file right from the main window.
- Backup on DVD and CD. Backup4all comes with its own built in CD/DVD burning support. So you don't need separate software to burn your backups to DVD or CD. However, if you prefer, you can still use the UDF format for burning CD/DVDs.
- Standard zip compression. Backup4all creates standard zip files. This means that you can access your data using any zip compatible utility. You can also secure your backed up data with AES encryption (128, 192, 256 bits).
- Very configurable. Lots of backup types to choose from. Full backup, differential backup, incremental backup, and mirror backup. Built-in scheduler, additional actions to perform before and/or after execution, command line.
- Open backup files. Backup4all uses the Volume Shadow Copy service. This allows you to back up open (local) files from NTFS partitions in Windows XP/2003 and Vista. For example, you can backup emails and settings for Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook without closing them.
- FTP backup software. You can now back up your files to remote locations using an FTP connection. With SSL support, active/passive transfer modes, firewall support.
